Random thoughts...

Reading the blogs written by others, makes me want to devote more time to documenting and writing about everyday life.  But that seems so boring.  So, does that mean I lead a boring life?  I don't think so.  Stressful and busy, but not boring.

Tomorrow will be one week since Lent started.  That means one week of NO Facebook.  I thought I'd be tempted everyday, every minute, but that isn't the case.  The thing I really miss is my games. hahaha  My Cityville city is being run over by robbers, what's a girl to do?  Then there is Bejeweled Blitz and SuperPoke Pets.  Oh well, I'll get over it.  No Facebook means:  1.  I don't waste time in the morning when i'm getting ready for work.  So, I'm able to get out of the house on time.  What a concept!   2.  My battery life on my phone lasts a little longer because I'm not on my phone running the FB app or receiving any email or text message notifications.   And finally, 3., i feel like I'm out of the loop.  I don't know what people are up to.  Again, I'll get over it.  So far, so good, but we'll see as Lent continues, how I do.

Life continues, with or without Facebook.  This means the continued juggling of family and work.  My work contract was extended for another 8 months.  These means I have 8 more months of work, as well as 8 more months to find a permanent position.  BUT on a sad note, this means that for the first time in two years I have to work this summer.  It's been nice not having to work the last two summers.  It's been awesome being able to sleep in and spend time at home with the kids not worrying about work.  We'll be taking a week off in the summer for family trip, but that's it.  I'll have to figure how to fit in weekend trips to San Diego to visit family and the beach, of course, into our summer plans.

March is a busy time for us.  One main reason is because of all the birthdays we celebrate this month.  Pita starts out the month and my mom ends the month.  In between we have Briana, Emma, Berna, Helen, Fernando, Martha and Raquel.  Time to party!  This month we also will be celebrating Raquel & Andy at their wedding shower as they get ready to be married next month.  Woo hoo!

It's March 15th, so happy birthday to my beautiful niece, Briana, and to my sister-in-law Bernadette.  I wish you happiness and a life full of blessings!!
