Hannah and Paul spent the night last night and the kids decided to go "camping." After playing at the park, with the Wii and watching a movie they headed to the tent.

Life Time Fitness
We joined Lifetime Fitness this month. Mainly as some place to take the kids, but also because we are going to exercise on a regular basis. Anthony and I have met with a personal trainer twice already and will have our third (and final) meeting on Sunday. My goal is be back at pre-kids weight, still not ideal but it's a lot better for me. I'm at an unhealthy weight and have no excuse to be this fat. I will be eating better, making better choices and exercising. My goal is to exercise at minimum three times a week.
The kids are having fun, too. While we exercise they go to the Childcare Center. Lifetime also has a great pool (see previous posting and pics) and an awesome rock climbing wall. Take a look at Joshua!!

Summer begins!
Summer 2011 has started and guess what we've been doing? Going swimming, of course. Well, the kids, not me.
With the Gadow/Johnstons, Tia Barbara's and the pool at Lifetime, I think the kids are set for swimming for summer.
Alexandra also went to volleyball camp and Joshua has basketball camp twice a week. So, we're busy.

Change, Change, Change
Well, with the end of the 2010-2011 school come many changes to our school and parish. Sister Ignacia, Miss Foyle and Mrs. Shearer (along with Father John) are leaving SJV.
Sister Ignacia has been our principal since the day we started at SJV. She was just as new as we were. Six years later, it's time for her to move on and serve at another school. She is now the principal at a school in San Antonio. Sister Cecilia will be our new principal and will arrive soon. We look forward to meeting her!
In addition to Sister, two teachers are leaving, including Alexandra's 4th grade teacher, Miss Foyle. Alexandra LOVES Miss Foyle! We ALL LOVE Miss Foyle! She instilled a love of reading in all the kids and I am so grateful! Miss Foyle - May God Bless you as you continue with your teaching career! Come back to SJV soon!
So, now I'm the proud parent of a 3rd grader and 5th grader! Where does the time go? Here is Joshua with his 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Aguiar. I think she is Joshua's best teacher. She loves each and every one of her students. She corrects them when needed, but she does so in loving way. Her kids know that she loves them! I wish we had more teachers like Miss Foyle and Mrs. Aguiar. I'm thankful that we were able to have them for the 2010-11 school year!
